WROPEN ("we," "our," or "us") operates a home services marketplace connecting customers with local service providers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password
• Business information (providers): company name, license number, insurance documents, service categories, and service area
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers
• Profile content: photos, bio, and reviews you submit
• Communications: messages exchanged through the platform between customers and providers

Information collected automatically:

• Location data: GPS coordinates when you use the app (with your permission), used to match you with nearby providers or display your position on the map
• Device information: device type, operating system, and app version
• Usage data: features used, pages viewed, and interaction patterns
• Push notification tokens: used to deliver job alerts and status updates

2. How We Use Your Information

• Match customers with qualified service providers in their area
• Process payments and lead charges through Stripe
• Send job alerts, status updates, and appointment reminders via push notification and SMS
• Verify provider licenses and insurance documents
• Display provider profiles and reviews to customers
• Provide customer support and resolve disputes
• Improve our platform through aggregated analytics
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Location Data

We request access to your device's location to show nearby service providers on the map and to help providers navigate to job sites. Location data is used in real time and is not sold to third parties. You can revoke location access at any time through your device settings, though this will limit certain features.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share information only as necessary:

• Between customers and providers: When a job is accepted, the customer's service address and the provider's contact information are shared to facilitate the job
• Stripe: Payment processing, including KYC/KYB verification for providers who receive payouts
• Twilio: SMS delivery for OTP codes, job alerts, and provider invite messages
• Resend: Transactional email delivery
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Job records, messages, and payment history are retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the app's Settings → Privacy → Delete Account.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), bcrypt password hashing, and access controls. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We conduct regular security reviews and promptly address vulnerabilities.

7. Children's Privacy

WROPEN is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Withdraw consent for location sharing at any time

9. Third-Party Links

Our app may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Calendly for appointment scheduling). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via push notification or email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
